The two houses are set in a very quiet environment, but at only a few kilometres away from the town of Rethymnon. One can enjoy the town of Rethymnon and the diverse coastal villages, full of life, day and night.

Due to its central position, many excursions may be organized to all districts of Crete. Numerous walks can be done to the mountains, to the old church of Aghia Irini and in the forest around.
Many traditional feasts and events take place all around the island, especially during the summertime, including traditional music, dancing and food. In those feasts guests are welcomed to observe or even participate.
